Wedding Bells 2008

Vicky, my good friend in Sydney, is getting married in June next year!
*
Look at how compatible they look!
In Chinese, we call this the husband-wife-look.
Vicky used to hold the same post as what I am holding in my current company but in the Australia office. The geography did not deter us from establishing a friendship in the midst of managing excess and some high levels of stress in managing projects.
**
In July, she arranged a trip to Singapore specially to coincide with my wedding. She was one of the very few colleagues that I had invited to my very small and private wedding ceremony.
*
So, most probably, hubs and I would have to plan a vacation in June next year to Australia. To share the joy and celebrate the love of this lovely couple.
*
如如!希望相片中的那般甜蜜能化为永恒哦!

Jadine & Yi Wei (very good buddies of my husband)
would also be tying the knot next year in September!
**
I got to know them better only after I married my husband.
We often meet them for games either at Jadine's very nice condo
in the heart of Singapore or at Settlers or Minds Cafe.
*
Blessings to the two couples!
I know that Vic does visit my humble blog.
But the second star couple of this post does not even know of it's existence!

Hi Nafa Team...

Yups Ting,

Hubs "tentative" says ok to go Australia in June next year. Well I hope he doesn't get any sudden projects to do. It's cruel to say such a thing as that means lesser business for him. But I am one who truly believes in work-life balance. Even if it means earning less money.

Yups Amel,

Weddings are always nice. And especially so if it is that of good close friends :-)

Hi Surjit,

Thanks & Have a Blessed Weekend!

Yes, one really has to make an effort to take time off. I'm glad I brought mum to a long Europe trip in 2000. She didn't want to go at first but ended up enjoying herself. After that, she's not strong to go anywhere.

Jan,

Hi Ting,

Yes. In the world today, life is so competitive. There is no time to go off for a break if one wants to wait for a suitable time.

Wooo nice and wonderful wedding posttt!!!

I would like to dedicate the song of "Have I Told You Lately" by Rod Stewart to this two couples of ur friends.

To stay forever in love and marriage, remember to ask yourself everyday "Have I told you (my husband or wife) lately that I love you?"

If you do it everyday, for sure ur love will be forever because you are showing love to them. Other than that, one THANK YOU and SORRY are the same way to show love. I hope the two couple can do it as well.
