It's very important to have a good working environment. A place that we spend half of our time awake in. It's not difficult for you to conclude from the picture how fun my working place is. I am glad to be in the company of a bunch of fun-looking people but serious attitude when work is concerned.

I was tagged by my blog buddy,
Trinity, to give my views on a comfortable desktop. I have lifted the following directly from Trin's good blog:
*I want to get the answer so I have to tag someone! THIS GONNA BE A DOUBLE TAG :-D So please
Endoh,
Bless,
Karen,
Eric,
LemonJude,
Raquel , Maurica, Janice and
Jamilla I tag you to show me your computer desk! (If you don't mind of course... ) and to answer my question.I repeat my question here:
*
What is your suggestion to make the computer desk more comfortable? Please put the answers on this list:
*
Trinity said the keyboard and mouse position should be in low level... in our lap may be...
Maurica said : For me, I need a cordless mouse, that's vital to make my work more comfortable, esp since I'm in front of the pc most of the time! :):):)
Janice said...I need a new working desk, the current one is converted from a dressing table, its a bit uncomfy to work on.
Ed said:
I have a clear view of everything in the room, including a new TV on the other wall so I can do my work and catch a little TV at the same time.
A foot rest where I am seated, just underneath my keyboard.
Since I yearn for a U-shaped workstation, I definitely want my things to be easily reached.
Since I'm unemployed, for me as long as I have everything I need on my computer desk, then I'm happy. My computer desk's not too tidy but it's comfy enough for me hi hi hi...I have a mug filled with pens and pencils nearby that's quite handy. More importantly, I like to have a big mug of water on my desk 'coz I drink a lot and I don't like going back and forth to get my drink. I rest my feet on top of a small speaker that my hubby puts on the floor below my computer desk (I find it quite handy as my legs are short LOL!!!). Oh, and I have a lamp table next to my monitor so that when it gets dark here, I simply need to turn it on. Voila!!!Oh, and one thing I love is having a headset and microphone ready, so whenever I need to listen to anything without bothering my hubby, I can just put it on. Plus there's this media hub that my hubby plugs so that if I want to listen to any music from the computer using the speakers, I only need to turn on the button to switch from speaker to headset. I find it very practical!
*
So, Trin, here's what I have to say:
*
A comfortable workdesk for me must be neat and tidy. A place for everything and everything at it's place. I would begin my day by sorting the documents that I need to look through in the order that I would attend to throughout the day. A short To-Do List would also be drafted to keep me focused.
*
Most importantly, I would clear my desk at the end of the day before I leave the office. This is somewhat like a routine to mentally end the work day so that when I am home, I am really mentally and physically home.
*
This is quite an easy-to-complete tag. I am sure these fabulous bloggers won't mind adding their views to this list. I am hence tagging: Sam & Sam, Amel, Winston, MT, Lili and Lee Chien. *

Trin also tagged me to unveil my computer desktop to the world. My new found blog buddy, Amel also tagged me to do the same. The picture above is a snapshot of the wallpaper of my notebook. This is my favourite picture of my trip to Banyan Tree Bintan. We spent five relaxing days there of pure relaxation. This is a place I won't mind visiting again.
The original meme from her good blog goes like this:

Karen, where is Banyan exactly? Is it at Singapore or Indonesia?
I am not surprise to see your neat workplace as you are so well organized young woman! But I am surprised because you are in fact a member of CHARLIE'S ANGELS! HAHAHA... Thanks for the tips.. will add yours on mine!
Trinity
Trin,
The Banyan Tree I went to was in Bintan. Sorry for not elaborating!
You are one clever girl. Indeed we had Charlie's Angels in mind when we posed for that picture.
Nice Day, Trin!!!
Charlies Angels? I like that! :-)
You did a much better job with this tag than I did. You look to be having fun.
Hello from Speedcat
Nice desktop Karen! I added a link to your post from my desktop post:) Why is your desk top post not listed in the ones who have already pimped theirs?
Hi Speedcat!
Yeah.. We were trying very hard to look like Charlie's Angels! The fact that Trin could guess and that you agreed means we were quite successful in our attempt huh?
Hope to see you again. Just visited your good blog. Congrats on your 1000th link!
Bobby!
Thanks for your compliments. As usual, you are always kind in your comments to my posts.
But ... I don't understand what you meant when you ask why my desk top post not listed in the ones who have already pimped theirs? ...Don't understand this leh ...
Nice day to you, Bobby!!

Hi Jan,
This is the desktop picture of my office notebook. The picture serves to remind me to take one thing at a time at work. It's really my favourite picture. Even the wallpaper on my Samsung handphone hangs the same picture.
Thanks for dropping by even though you must have had quite a tiring day out. Everyone in the blogosphere was looking for you. **Chuckles** They did not know it's children's day today! Next time, you should hang up your social calendar on the blog and also dates of school holidays.
Nice Evening, Jan!
Ha ha, sure no worries! Am adding u to my post now! :):):)
Genie Princess
HE HE HE...LOVE the pic!!! Indeed having fun coworkers that you get along well at work is definitely a PLUS. ;-D
I'll do the meme later (either tomorrow or Wed). I'm pretty swamped today hi hi hi...
Btw, the pizza project went fine, though it took me a long time to do it. It took a long time to decorate two big pizza pans with toppings since we liked different toppings. We both like mince meat and salami and jalapeno chili on our pizza, but he likes pineapple on his side whereas I like mushroom. Actually, he was the one who taught me how to make the pizza dough and everything HE HE HE HE...I also added some bits of reindeer meat all over our pizza. ;-D Yeah, we're meaty people ha ha ha ha ha...
Wow Amel!!
Glad to know that your Project Pizza has been a success! Enjoy the fruits of your hardwork my friend! Yummy!!
Have a Good Evening!

Hi Karen, thanks for the tag, youre one of the kindest bloggers I know :)
certainly looks relaxing! :) oh, i've added you to my list! :)
Looks like you now have it listed! I didn't even know you knew how to "pimp" a desktop, LOL!!!!
I worked as a pimp for the state government for a while but got fired because I wouldn't wear a flamboyant yellow hat with a giant pink feather on it!
Hi Winston!
Thanks for your compliment! It really brightens my day ... after a very tiring week!
Blessings!
Hi Jean!
Thanks! I will add your post to mine as well.
Happy Weekend, gal!!
Hi Bobby!
Yeah .. I was surprised that I manage to do it! Hee Hee ...
What is a pimp for State Government? I think it must be a metaphor when you said you wear no hats with feathers on it. What does that mean??
What a clean desk and desktop! How do you do it? :)
Hi Rolando!
I can't work with a cluttered desk - be it my physical desktop or that of my notebook.
Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate that!
Have a Good Weekend Rolando!
Karen, thanks for telling me that pple are looking for me on Children's Day. Do you know that the same day is China's National Day. I heard from my aunty cos my cousin went to HK for tour & my aunty is scolding him that it's gonna be crowded over at HK with the china crowd down for holiday :)
Janice Ng
